Experience a day surrounded by mountains, clear rivers, and the fresh air of Hida. Join us at Kushima Rose Farm, a naturally grown edible rose garden in the countryside of Kawaimachi, Hida City, for a special event where you can pick fresh roses and make your own rose water.
Take a moment away from everyday life and immerse yourself in the soothing fragrance of roses — a peaceful experience found only here in the heart of Japan.
Schedule
8:45 Meeting at Yu wark House parking area 9:00–11:30 Rose Picking & Rose Water Workshop
After the workshop, enjoy our Rosénade (sparkling rose drink) and a two-tiered Rose Afternoon Tea with light refreshments.
Venue
Kushima Rose Farm 252 Domae, Tsunogawa, Kawai-cho, Hida City, Gifu Prefecture
Access: If you are coming by public transportation, you can take the JR train departing from Takayama Station at 7:40 AM, through Hida-Furukawa Station at 8:02 AM, and then at Tsunogawa Station at 8:16 AM. From Tsunogawa Station, it’s about a 20-minute walk to our farm.
Please note that train services are limited, so we recommend coming by car if possible.

Before You Book
・No physical tickets will be mailed. Please tell our staff your representative name upon arrival.
・English-speaking guide included : Perfect for international guests — enjoy learning about our roses and the culture of Hida in English.
・Handbags, personal belongings, or umbrellas cannot be brought into the farm.
・The event will be held rain or shine (in case of cancellation, we will notify you by email by 6:00 PM the day before).
・Please use an email address such as Gmail or Yahoo Mail — mobile carrier emails (docomo, softbank, ezweb) may not receive our messages.
・Please bring insect repellent, sunscreen, and a hat for sun protection.
・As this is a pesticide-free farm, you may encounter insects, frogs, or wild animals such as raccoons or snakes.
If you are uncomfortable with these, we kindly ask you to reconsider participating.
Payment Methods
Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit card only. If payment is not confirmed within 3 days after booking, your reservation will be automatically cancelled.
Please note that cash on arrival, COD, or post-payment options are not available.

・100% cancellation fee: 1 day before or on the event day ・50% cancellation fee: 2 days before ・30% cancellation fee: up to 7 days before ・20% cancellation fee: up to 20 days before
Repeated cancellations may result in future bookings being declined.
